My name is Montana and I’m thirteen years old, I am currently a member of the Hamag EV Young Dressage Riders Squad which is held at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre.
I made it into the squad through sheer hard work and dedication on two thoroughbreds off the track.
I can say that I have had some pretty bad times throughout my training with these two horses, one came to me as an extreme bucker and the other had bad shying issues but after hard work they have come out on top.

My everyday routine consists of getting up early in the morning and riding one or two horses (in the dark!).

I attend KooWeeRup Secondary College; I’m in an accelerated learning program called S.E.A.L, this means that I’m doing year eight and nine work not just mainstream year eight work.
After school I ride one or two more horses, I take local peoples ponies and horses to educate and work. I am just starting to dabble in giving lessons to young beginners.
Juggling all of my commitments can get a little bit stressful at times but this is the direction I have chosen.

I am also very happy and proud to be sponsored by Saddlepix Photography and Drover Horsewear. Both of these people have been very supportive and given up their time in sponsoring me. So I’d like to give a formal THANK YOU to these companies and families.
